The team at Clifton Hill Dental is thrilled to announce our patient-focused renovation and expansion.

An Expansion in Stages
To ensure we can accommodate patient appointments, we’re expanding in three stages. This keeps necessary treatment rooms and dental surgery suites available for six-month checkups and dental procedures.
For now, during stage 1 of our expansion, we’ve made the back of the building our main entrance. Check out our map and video directing you to this new, temporary entrance and reception area.
A Patient-Focused Renovation and Expansion
You may be wondering why we’ve decided to overhaul our dental practice.
Well, since the world was rocked by COVID-19, we have been backlogged and are still trying to accommodate appointments in a timely manner. This expansion will help us do that. The team at Clifton Hill Dental never wants existing patients to wait for the treatments they need and deserve, which is the key reason we’ve made this move. Expansion begins in April, and we hope to complete work by October 2023.
This expansion will mean more dental surgery suites and patient examination rooms, allowing us to better serve our growing Clifton Hill families.
Existing appointments should not be affected by these dental clinic upgrades, but it may be a little noisy sometimes during the demolitions/construction phases. We recommend bringing your headphones and favourite tunes to the dental clinic.
Additionally, we will not be accepting new patients during the overhaul. The renovation and expansion are all about accommodating those patients who are already members of the Clifton Hill Dental Family. However, if you have a loved one in need of urgent dental care, we will always do our best to welcome them during the renovation.
FAQ's
Q: Will there be construction during my visit?
A: Yes! There will be some construction noise from April through to October 2023, but we will always do our best to keep it to a minimum. Remember to bring your headphones and music!
Q: Will you be closing the dental practice during some parts of the renovation?
A: As of now, due to the way we have planned the construction stages we have no need to close the dental clinic.
Q: Will you be adding any new technology?
A: Yes, we are excited to bring the CBCT and OPG machine to our dental practice. This digital film technology relies on a cone-shaped beam to capture images. It will aid in diagnosing dental health conditions and treatment planning. Plus, it is safer than traditional x-rays.
Having our own OPG machine means no more trips to a radiology clinic for imaging, we can do everything here in the practice for you.
