What Inspired You to Become a Dentist?
I feel dentistry chose me! In 1987, I was about to complete a Bachelor of Science and was not sure what I wanted to do. One day, while chatting with friends, I met
some dental students, which made me decide to apply. I applied, got in, and have not looked back since!
How Long Have You Worked In the Dental Field?
I have worked in dentistry for 32 years and opened the practice on the 13th of June 1994, thus 30 years in 2024.
What's Your Favourite Thing About Working with Patients and Your Team?
My aim is always to do my best for the patient, and it gives me great satisfaction when the patient is out of pain, is so proud of their new smile, or can function without discomfort.
My favourite thing about working with my team is that they are highly motivated and love our patients as much as I do. I also believe that I can not achieve my goals without a good team.
What's the Best Part About Being a Dentist?
I love all aspects of my job! I love the social interaction with staff and patients, the satisfaction of providing patients with pain-free treatment, gain of function, relief of dental pain, and a beautiful smile. The fact that I can provide complex dental treatment to my patients.
Also, I've built relationships through trust over the years with staff and patients.
What Do You Do In Your Spare Time?
In my spare time, I try to keep fit and enjoy travelling when I get the chance.
